Required Voter Identification

A valid photo ID is required to vote in Virginia. Several different forms of identification are acceptable, including a Virginia Driver’s License, US Passport, Employee ID, and a student ID issued by a Virginia institution of higher learning. If you do not have one of those, read this much longer list from the Virginia Department of Elections to see what other IDs are valid for voting purposes.
